Gearbox Repair Process
All Gearboxes that come in are disassembled cleaned and Inspected, all Gears are Magnaflux to check for hairline cracks that may be invisible to the naked eye, Bearing surface on Shafts and housing are checked for any wear that may have contributed to the gearbox failing, We will then send over a quote
Once given Approval for Repairs
Gears with worn or broken teeth will be Replaced, We have gear cutting machines that can cut new gears up to a 36 inch diameter, Bearing Surfaces on shafts are built up and machined to size, All Bearings and Seals are Replaced with new, Gearbox is reassembled tested and ready to be shipped
